1. Overview
Global Tip Calculator ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website globaltipcalculator.com. We believe your financial data and dining habits are private. Our core tool is built to function entirely on your device without transmitting personal financial calculations to any remote server.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require user accounts, logins, or registration.
- We do not record, store, or sell the bill amounts, tips, or splitting numbers you enter into the calculator.
- We do not process credit cards or bank details.
3. Local Device Storage (localStorage)
To make the website convenient for repeat calculations, your browser may save your last 5 calculations locally using standard HTML5 localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be erased at any time by clicking the "Clear" button in the Recent Calculations card or by clearing your browser cache.
4. Contact Form Inquiries
If you voluntarily submit a message through our Contact page, we collect only the name, email address, and message details you provide, solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site tracking cookies. Any server logs collected by our hosting provider record only standard web request headers (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) for cybersecurity and uptime monitoring.
